The AHAMAHAMIKA forum hence, does not appreciate the teachers giving any special coaching for children to face the contests. The question papers will be set in such a way that the children who actually read the book seriously only can answer well.
What the Organising Schools are to do :
1. Decide the book in consultation with AHAMAHAMIKA forum and confirm its availability in local shops.
2. Fix up the date for the contest with AHAMAMIKA forum either on a Saturday or Sunday.
3. Intimate as many schools as you can and invite their school children to participate. Give all the details of the Book like Title, Author, Publisher and Cost ; and the Reporting Time and Date of exam to the schools clearly. Do not restrict the number of children at all and do not insist on getting the details of the participating children. Just get the likely number of participants from each school, so that adequate number of Question papers are made.
4. It is to be noted that AHAMAHAMIKA contest will be conducted subject to the participation of minimum of 100 children at least from 5 different schools.

4. Qualified students will be sent the certificates to their respective schools.
General guidelines to Hosting and Participating School Principals/ Teachers.
1. Do not coach the children in reading. That will not help.
2. Do not restrict the participation of children in AHAMAHAMIKA contests. It is not a competition. It is a process to develop the habit of book reading. Hence do not conduct any screening tests.
3. Do not discourage any child to participate even at the last minute of the contest. Do not insist on prior registration or intimation. The number of likely participants from each school is important only for the preparation of question papers. Even this can also be managed by last minute Xeroxing of additional papers.
4. Do not think ‘book reading’ as an additional burden on the children. Good book reading is equally important as their curriculum. Try to explain this fact to the parents if required.
5. Encourage your school children to participate in as many AHAMAHAMIKA contests as possible.
6. Come out voluntarily and host at least one AHAMAHAMIKA contest in a Year. It costs nothing. Just three hours of your time in a year. Remember that Scientists of NSTL are prepared to spare much more time for this Noble Mission.
7. Propagate this Mission to as many schools as you can.
